Diploma in Shamanic Healing
Foundation Course

Details. The cost for each standalone weekend of the Foundation Course is £190.00. This fee covers the teaching sessions as well as the opportunity to participate in online Q&A sessions after each weekend. The weekend training begins at 9:15 am on Saturday and concludes at 5:00 pm on Sunday. If you are in need of financial support, we do offer a limited number of scholarship places, details here.
Journeying for wellbeing & transformation

You do not need to have a drum or rattle to attend, but great if you do.
- Reclaim relationships with the Spirit of drum and rattle and experience support in healing.

Professional Course
Professional Course 2025 Schedule
The program spans across a year and comprises 4 immersive weekends conducted in person, along with 5 comprehensive online teaching sessions. The Professional Course, enriches the practice of Shamanic Healing by delving deeply into soul retrieval, death and dying, and the requirements of a professional practice. It meets the requirements for aspiring Shamanic Practitioners, covering case studies, anatomy, physiology, and professional healing standards. This year-long program emphasises extensive healing practice and demands full commitment due to its nature and reverence. Completion leads to recognition as a Shamanic Healer Practitioner and a Diploma in Shamanic Healing.
The Professional Course, provides guidance for establishing a professional healing service and meeting accreditation standards. It incorporates diverse methods such as ritual practices, personal power song discovery, remote healing techniques, soul loss understanding, lost soul retrieval, self-care planning, comprehension of the dying process, Psycho pomp ceremony, and the creation of sacred power items. Practical assessments include demonstrating professional healing standards, handling administrative tasks, understanding legal frameworks, and completing case studies with foundational anatomy and physiology knowledge.

Costs
Professional Course. The course consists of in person training over four weekends and monthly online training and case-study support.
Fee: Deposit £55.00 plus £230 for each weekend.
Accommodation. There are various B&B’s, campsites and Airbnb available in the area.
Cancellation Policy. Cancellations made up to 14 days before a scheduled training will be refunded back to the original payment method minus any administrative/financial fees. Cancellations made 14 days or less before a training will be charged the full amount.

Tutors
Lorraine and Jim are both experienced Shamanic Healer Practitioners.
They each have over 20 years training with various teachers from around the world, and they both have their own healing practice.

Teachings
It has been around 2,000 to 3,000 years since people lived close to the land with an Earth honouring and animistic practice in the UK. We have effectively lost our own heritage and connection to the ancient ways of healing and living close to the land with the other than human peoples. We need to look to those places and cultures around the world that still practice these ways to learn and rekindle our own respectful and heartfelt connection to the land and healing. We acknowledge the harm that has been done and is still being done around the world to native peoples, whose teachings we humbly and respectfully base this training on. Furthermore, we include our own ancestral linages, who probably directly or indirectly were part of this harm.
We are grateful to have received permission to use the healing ceremonies outlined in this course and will always offer them in a sacred and respectful way. We also financially support individual Elders and communities more generally through Survival International charity, as an act of reciprocity.

Training F.A.Q.
We strictly limit numbers to ensure everyone receives the best training possible and social distancing is maintained.
Yes, we provide handouts for the Foundation course, they are given out at the course and, a Student handbook for the Professional course.
The weekend training is delivered by Lorraine and Jim, who also provide online Zoom meeting between weekend trainings. Where possible, we have an assistant on the course who can help support individuals. SHC also offering counselling support for its members.
All of our courses are delivered by a team of highly qualified, experienced and specialist trainers. We also have course assistant/s who support the weekend trainings.
The Foundation course weekends are aimed at people interested in shamanic healing who may or may not have any experience. The format is experimental, giving you the opportunity to practice healing in a safe environment. The course assistant/s will also have experience of the training. If you need a helping hand, contact us, and we would be happy to advise you.
